Lemieux Joins Mission as Vice President of Heart Services10/08/2009
Karen G. Lemieux has joined Mission Hospital as Vice President of Heart Services following a nationwide search.
Lemieux brings more than 20 years of cardiology and cardiac surgery leadership and clinical experience.
Most recently, Lemieux served as the Executive Director of the Heart Center at Hawaii Pacific Health in Honolulu, a multi-hospital system with a network of four hospitals where she was responsible for cardiology and cardiac surgery programs.
Prior to this, she served as Associate and Assistant Administrator of the Cardiac Service Line with Inova Health System in Falls Church VA.
Lemieux holds a masters degree in Business Administration from Marymount University in Arlington, VA; an MS in Nursing Administration from Catholic University of America in Washington, DC; a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from University of Rhode Island in Kingston, RI; as well as a Diploma in Nursing from Worcester Memorial Hospital in Worcester, MA.
